Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of MeetMeFirst, a web service for adults to arrange in-person dates. By creating an account or using MeetMeFirst, you agree to them.

Who can use MeetMeFirst

You must be 18 or older. We check the birthdate you give us at signup and may close accounts that fail that rule.

MeetMeFirst is straight dating only in this version. Profiles are male or female. Men are shown women; women are shown men. Same-gender matching is not allowed. That is one matching loop, not a statement against anyone else.

What the product does

You may have up to three active matches at a time, fewer if you have no-show penalties. A match expires 5 days after it is made unless you and the other person book a public meetup. After a date, you have 5 days to book the next one if you both still like each other. Chat is for arranging that meetup, not for endless messaging. Phone numbers and social accounts stay out of chat until after three dates.

After you both check in as having met, each of you says whether you still like the other. A second or third date is booked only if both still do. After the third date, if you both still like each other, you may each share a phone number or a social account. We show both only when both people have shared, then we close that thread and free the slot.

Booking a meetup is a commitment to show up. Cancel at least 12 hours before the time or it counts as a no-show. After the meetup time, you check in. Repeated no-shows reduce your match slots, then pause likes. We do not treat one unverified report as a no-show.

MeetMeFirst does not supervise dates. You choose whether to meet, where to meet, and whether to stay. Meet in public. Tell someone you trust. Leave if you feel unsafe.

Your account

You are responsible for the information you post, including photos and bio. Do not impersonate anyone. Do not use the service to harass, scam, spam, or harm others. We may remove content, unmatch people, or close accounts, including after a block or report.

Cost

MeetMeFirst is free. Creating an account, using Discover, liking, matching, and chat do not cost money.

The service as-is

MeetMeFirst is provided as-is. We do not promise that you will find a date, that profiles are accurate, or that the site will always be available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens between users off the site, including meetups.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change when we do. If you keep using MeetMeFirst after an update, you accept the new terms.
